WIN doesn’t want Armia unless we give them some real nice candy.

If you just want the 2nd rd pick in order to OS Lafreniere, then a 2nd and a 3rd should get it done.

If you’re trying to piggy back a salary dump on top of it, it’ll cost you a 1st rd pick. And I’m not willing to give up a first.

Jets decline. Give to get. If you want that 2nd back…especially for an os… it won’t be cheap.

Theres actually no way you dont think thats worth a 2nd rounder. The bias is genuinely insane.

You know if it comes out that Chevy rejected that package because of pettiness, no gm would ever help the Jets again. Its a gross overpayment and only an idiot would say otherwise

An Armia cap dump isnt worth a 1st rounder. And if it was, Harris more than covers that. Kidney is worth more than the Avs 2nd

Just like everyone else is saying, no one is giving up a 2nd for cap dumps and meh prospects.

Your bias is incredible. Please explain how Montreal's cap dumps have positive value, while no other cap dump in the league does. You barely have enough there to dump Armia let alone return the most valuable piece by far.

Jets can just keep this pick as it's quite valuable and the prospects likely aren't difference makers. If you believe in Laffy so bad pay the 1st and 3rd because if he's as good as he is potential wise (habs fans think ppg) than 1st and 3rd for that is nothing

Where did I say Armia has positive value? Show me. Dont put words in my mouth

Kidney should be more than enough to dump that contract. But lets say for the sake of this Armia is taken out with Kidney. Youre telling me Harris is not enough for a 2nd round pick. Meh prospects. Have you seen the Jets prospect pool? Other than Lambert, theres nothing. Harris is already a better player than half the Jets d core. And his upside would put him #1 in the Jets system

All for a 2nd round pick.

You must be on government assistance or something cause there's no way someone like you is able to live without it

Harris is an overrated (by Montreal fans) LHD that Winnipeg has absolutely no need for. Just like jet fans told you when you were trying to force Harris on Winnipeg in the PLD trade.

Just because you overrate him and think he's worth a 2nd, doesn't mean he is. In Winnipeg Harris is a career AHL'er in all likelihood as he has at least 5 or 6 players better than him on the left side alone.

Kidney is an okay B/C prospect with a ceiling of 3C if he can ever crack the NHL and is still 2 or 3 years away from the NHL according to pro scouts. Every team has players like that, so he holds very little value.

Montreal will be awful again next year so that 2nd will be in the 33 - 38 range. It's too good to give up for pieces that do nothing for the Jets and take on a cap dump. You want that 2nd, you'll need to make it worth Chevy's while and overpay.

You'd thing you'd have learned that Montreal's numerous mediocre prospects don't carry the value you want them to as evidenced by Chevy telling Hughes to shove those prospects in the PLD trade.

Just make a $6M OA and forget about the WPG trade.

The whole point is having NYR not matching it.

He just turned 23 and is better than every LHD not named Morrissey that Winnipeg have lol.
