This is the type of package it would take to get Nylander. I think they would try to get Larsson or Oleksiak back though.

Leafs don’t want picks or prospects that will take awhile to get to the league for Nylander.

Nylander (extended) + Villenueve + Chicago 2024 5th round pick for Larsson + Wright + Lind + Seattle 2024 2nd round pick

That’s much more fair, Leafs lose the deal a bit but whenever a team deals away the best player they always slightly lose.

I feel if Toronto made a deal with SEA it would look like this

Bjorkstrand + Kartye + Evans for Willy sign and trade

Kartye really impressed me in his debut and I think he would be a nice addition, Bjorkstrand just fits our system considering we should now be eyeing some more defensive guys. And Evans makes a tonne of sense for the Leafs rn considering their need for LD prospects
