I think Nashville should be in full rebuild so I agree. But obviously these organizations try to avoid that for as long as possible.

Pittsburgh can't do anything with all their core having NMCs. At least the next two years they have to be pretenders. Winnipeg, Calgary, Nashville, Boston, Islanders could all rebuild now. Won't happen though. And I understand from ownership perspective why.

My thoughts exactly. I see him maybe in the Hampus Lindholm / Damon Severson range... likely slightly lower... but I imagine him wanting $5.5-6 mil per season for 7-8 years.

A 2nd and Fabbro would be the most I'd consider. Preferrably a 2nd and Carrier... but it would make sense Carolina would want the RFA over a UFA.

... Even though Pesce would want 7-8yrs, I think I would be okay giving him $6mil x 4/5 yrs. But I doubt he accepts that.
