Ottawa has almost as many LHD's as Detroit so LHD prospects aren't moving the needle at all for Ottawa.

If Ottawa doesn't want the prospects than Kubalik and Boston's 1st for ADB.

Kubalik is on a cheap deal for one year that lets Ottawa have enough to sign Tarasenko and he fills a hole. I think Ottawa needs a useable forward back in a deal, be it Kubalik, Fabbri or Veleno. Kubalik makes the most sense from both teams perspectives finacially and on the ice.

This makes sense as the trade to me too. Though I think another mid tier prospect (for example Hanas) could be thrown in as well.
