The analytics might say he is, but Murphy is a lot bigger and tougher and younger and signed for longer and I think that outweighs the analytics. With us getting Klingberg we need to balance that out. Murphy - 6’4’’, 212 lbs, Brodie - 6’1’’, 185 lbs. Big difference in the playoffs.

Think the blues would rather keep the cheaper and younger guy. We aren't trying to exchange younger players for older players

I'd probably do this if I am the Hawks. Though I'd prefer a different prospect than Robertson. Not sold on him being anything more than career AHL.

He's the epitome of boom/bust at this point. He has the skill to be an NHL goal scorer. But his big flaw is his size and he has to prove he can stay healthy at the NHL level and even then produce at the NHL level with the bigger bodies.
