I was hoping once the draft was done - & no Laughton (overpayment) trade - this ridiculousness would end, but no… and from a leafs fan too.

Murray has an injury history along with a concussion history. He suffered a concussion before the end of the year and lets be real if he was healthy he would have been in game 5 and 6 for playoffs. Like Mike Smith it just takes one failed physical and its off to LTIR and I got a feeling thats whats gonna happen

As if not why didnt they just do what they did with Chicago last year (Murray + 28OA for 35 OA). Chicago just bought out Bailey and before wanted another 1st well move 7 spots up and do the buyout and they could have got the 28OA pick.

Probably wasn’t enough for Laughton when it was a 2023 1st so I doubt it will be enough for him now that it’s a 2024 1st
