I mean idk what to tell you, Winnipeg has literally looked into Sanheim so clearly they are thinking something you aren’t. It’s been known Winnipeg and Toronto both talked to Danny about it and some wonder about Calgary too.

I've heard they've looked into him, but they really should avoid him if the ask is an overpay as this ACGM. Without retention they just shouldn't get mixed up with his contract, but maybe it's a Kevin Hayes situation.

Come on now you aren't dumb and sending a LHD to Detroit in a ACGM is not something that makes you dumb. A few seasons ago Detroit needed LHDs. They picked Wallander in the 2nd round of the 2020 and in the 1st round of the of the 2021 they drafted Edvinsson and both of the project as top 4 Dmen. Yzerman also traded for Walman and signed Chariot and Maatta. So Detroit has place holders and with Edvinsson and Johansson looking like they are ready to make the jump. So the left side of Detroit's D has become very crowded.
