Gus+1st is overpay for #14. Gus by himself might be enough if Pitt has enough motivation to find a young starting goaltender.

I'd love if we could move up to get one of those 3, specifically Moore or Danielson, but I don't see us giving up Gustavsson to do it. Addison might be the chip we use to try and do something like that.

Mtl as no interest in swamping RD... why because the best player is the one you know, not the one you'll get... and adding Addison 5'10'' Offensive type of player will remove quality ice-time to Baron who need to develop himself in the NHL.

If Pittsburgh wants more than a 25 year old starter that was second in the league for both GAA and sv%, then I don't see a deal happening. I wouldn't offer more than Gus. Even offering Gus is pretty suspect given our other goalie is MAF.

I'd prefer to keep Gus. If he's the piece we have to use to move up I think we should just stay put.

I wouldn’t hesitate to trade him for the 14. I would also probably draft a goalie in this draft…heck, I would draft a goalie almost every year.
