It's Hoffman shipped out with half salary retained.
    To any team.

Someone will have Hoffman for 50% salary.
If not, well it's AHL. I don't care.
It's for the remaining outlook of lines I did that.
    Could have been any team.
I chose Chicago because they have an empty roster and need to reach cap floor anyway.

    Fine.
    Any team then.
    Or AHL.
    Team didn't matter.
Just to get a look at Habs lines.

Same reason multiple GM's signed Hoffman with Term
They dont punish him for not divorcing his wife over her comments.
No one's that dumb in business or they'd be out of business.
Its how you seperate those who built something in life from those who havent.
Those who have realize sometimes Cost Effective is the best option over Top of the Line.
Its called Cost Management and a variety of factors come into play

This isnt high school Prom King where they poll to see who's popular.
Its a business and if the numbers work they'll make a deal.
Its why POS like Hartman still have a NHL job

Yes. A variety of factors, the most important of them being production, cap hit, and term. With Hoffman, all of those factors add up to him being a cap dump that no team is going to pay for or claim off of waivers.

Also, No one said anything about comments his wife made. BUT! That stuff is important too. Especially for a rebuilding team that is also trying to rebuild the entire culture within their organization. It is pretty naive of you to think that doesn't play a role in business too. Companies distance themselves from toxic people and situations all the time so they don't get bad PR. It's pretty standard practice, actually.

    At 4.5m he's about 1.25m-1.5m overpaid
You know what helps that ? RS 1.25-1.5m
If only there was a way to change the cap so it reflected his level of play or lower for greater savings.
I coulda swore there was the ability to RS somewhere?

"i never said anything about his wife But.." then continues to go on about his wife hahaha *Thumbs Up*
Im just saying he keeps getting re-signed to Rebuilds and Rebounds contenders alike.
Why? Guess who had one incident and then nothing for years over multiple teams ? Hoffmans Wife.
Its why most teams dont care unlike Petry's Wife who's still online supporting Trumps controversial policies.(even then most dont care)

People who are married relate to Hoffman
Given most Professionals and Business owners i associate with and know are family people
I can empathize and relate to Hoffman's situation.
That said i couldnt think of a situation where what my wife does makes me less employable.
Its TMZ social media garbage thats not commonly applied to life unless there's a history of it.

Hoffman with RS so he has 2m cap leaves him in a position to be worth 1m at the TDL after a 2nd team flips him.
No one can argue Hoffman isnt worth 1m cap and be taken seriously
    Its an Oxymoron

You can't even quote me properly, differentiate between me and someone else, or understand generalized statements about how businesses conduct themselves within social situations. So I only read about half of your entire post before I decided you aren't worth my time.
