If Hall does anything at all - and he should put up garbage points with plenty of PP time, etc. - there is no way CHI moves him and retains for that awful return.

Doubtful. Hawks acquired Hall to fill a gap but almost certainly to be moved at the TDL either this coming season or the next. Hall is going on 32 years old this fall, he's not part of the Hawks long-term plans and they wouldn't have given up young assets (Mitchell and Regula) if the plan wasn't to flip him in the next 2 years.

I'll stop trading for Hall for now, but he'd look damn good in the blue and white. We will see how the year plays out. Hope he and Bedard do light it up, but selfishly hope we could figure out a way to get him 50% retained for a package similar to Robertson and Bostons 1st at the draft. The revenge tour against Boston would fire me up
