Sanheim is a better version of Lindholm and Bruins can afford him with Grez and Reilly gone. With Sanheim is the Bruins top 4 the best in the league by far for the next 4-5 years and under a reasonable cap hit

So you think Copp have Philly in his 10 team list? Highly doubt that. Regarding Detroit they need an upgrade for their 2C since Copp been a disappointment and Chiairot a disaster. Losing their 1st but get rid of Chiairot and get a great 30+ goal scorer + a cheaper, better replacement for Copp is a steal.

Down year this past season but was one of the best defenders in the league up until that. If you don’t believe me look up his analytical numbers(search Sanheim JFresh).

Copp came back from a core surgery; had absolutely 0 time to play in the summer/pre-season. He's also defensively sound; not sure if Hayes is, but Copp certainly is. I also absolutely do believe he he has Philly as one of his 10 teams.
As for Chiarot; it's a bad contract, but Detroit has more than enough room to keep it on the books until end of term.

Overall, you offer two points that, with an understanding below the surface, is just bad.

Better than he was in Anaheim and considering how well most defenders seem to play in Boston I have no doubt that Sanheim will get better than Lindholm with the Bruins

He has 6 inches in Grizz, but only 5lbs. They put up similar offensive numbers and hits. Sanheim blocks more shots. Grizz is elite 5x5.

He’s barely an upgrade over Grizz, at twice the cost.

Cap alone makes it a non starter. Paying 3 times what he is worth puts it over the top.

Grizz is an decent defender that isn’t good enough to play special teams minutes, gets deployed in the oppositions zone 60% of his shifts and is not trusted with heavy workload.
Sanheim on the other hand gets deployed in his own end 60% of his shifts, is a trusted penalty killer and blocks a lot of shots while also playing heavy matchups versus the opponents top lines. Grizz is not even close
