Devils decline. Not worth sending Holtz or Casey

Rumour is they are the leaders for Helle. If you’re not sending them, who do you think you’d send? When I look at the Devils once Meier signs long term there is no top 6 spot for Holtz and with Hamilton Marino Nemec there is no place for Casey. If not moving them to get one of the top tenders in the league, turning that weakness into a strength what is the plan?

Takeout Arvidsson and Harkins and I could see that being the deal.

There's plenty of room for Holtz, and Casey is still years away. Hellebuyck will get significantly less than you think he will.

Everyone said the same about PLD and he’s returning Vilardi, Iaffalo +.

PLD is not a 30 year old goalie one year from UFA asking for 8x9.5. Name a goalie that got traded for a prospect as good as Holtz. If there even is one, I guarantee he was younger than Hellebuyck and with more years left. Vezina Fleury got traded for literally nothing.

This return would have been quite impressive in 2020

Everyone said Meier was going to cost us Holtz or Nemec (if not both).

2006: Andrew Raycroft was traded for Tukka Rask (one-for-one). Rask was probably close to Holtz.

Only other top-25 prospect moved for goalie. Nothing else was attached.
