Leafs fans seem to hate their own. Big overpay for one year of Lindholm. Five years of Mayfield at 3.8 X 5 starting age 31,,,,,no thanks. Funny Liljegren and Mayfield had identical stats last year (if that means anything), but to many Leaf fans other bottom enders from other teams.......are ssooooooo much better than their own.

What other 1C is on the market right now? I mean, a one-two of Kadri and Laughton isn't the end of the world, and having a sniper like Konecny with Huberdeau could be nasty, on top of TK being a Tkachuk replacement in terms of getting under players skin

If Lindholm is being sold Calgary should not be looking for a replacement 1C at all and instead tanking to draft one in the next 2 years
