I feel like Broberg isn’t held in such high regard as a prospect anymore and since the hawks are already loaded on LD depth (Philips, Vlasic, Ethan Del Maestro, Nolan Allen, etc) he isn’t the kind of piece the hawks would look for to move Murphy much less with the inclusion of Yam who doesn’t move the needle in a good direction for us.

First thing, Murphy isn’t good enough to cost Broberg, besides Ceci is cheaper and better, so there is no fit in Edmonton.

On the current roster Murphy would become 3RD and, assuming Bouchard gets a 1x $3.5 million contract, CM would be by far the most expensive RD, so it just does not make economic nor hockey sense.

That is laughable.

No chance the Hawks trade Murphy for Broberg.

Ceci > Murphy is definitely one of the takes of all time.
