calgary need cap space, we give low salary player + money (retained and future considerations) + 1st round pick
mantha is way too expensive and didnt produce in washington, hoffman have way better stats and half of the price (by retained)
Vegas just win the cup and will need cap to continue, pezzetta is a good 4th line cheap and we give future consideration.
Anahein have money and need more power, anderson at3.5M is good for the price. (but this one may need a change even with 2 draft)
1. Lindholm is a first-line center on 20-25 of the teams in the league. There’s no way that Conroy even considers moving him for two aging players (especially Armia, on his unbecoming contract) and the 31st overall pick.
2. Agreed.
3. Hague is cheap! If anyone will move for Vegas, it’s Martinez, and even that’s unnecessary, since they’re not pressed against the ceiling like 2021.
4. Unless Anaheim is looking to draft Michkov at pick #5, this makes no sense. Fantilli is absolutely great, and Anaheim gains very little from taking on Anderson, even retained. Really, the 3rd round pick in this updated deal is
still necessary to dump Anderson (that’s being generous), and there’s no way Anaheim moves down without further compensation.
Overall, I think that, though Montreal is looking to get better, these trades won’t be considered by the teams you’ve chosen. The real team would need to talk to other teams and propose fairer trades.
