Again the blues decline. We can't afford Marner's salary and why would we trade for him when he only has 2 years left on his contract. We are retooling/rebuilding and trading for Marner is the exact opposite of what we are going to be doing.

Keller with his 7.125m X 5 years has much more trade value than 11m X 2 Marner. Blues and Coyotes....easy no thank you.

Let me see if I understand what you expect AZ. takes on 3,00,000 due 7/1 a cap dump in Muzzin and give up a guy with a really good contract that wants to be in AZ? This is a rational course of action for them ? Really?

That's the 3,000,000 due 7/1 as his salary is only 775 k meaning they'd pay all the retention up front.

It got so bad they tossed them out

there's a reason every cap dump was done after bonus's were paid not before

Which was exactly why I said they wouldn't do it. You said I didn't include the retention I was merely pointing out I indeed had. Or Marner invokes his NMC
