im not sure I understand the obsession for Terry. We are trading our premium assets to get a less turnover prone Necas? He doesnt solve our physicality issues. Would much rather keep Jarvis and those pieces.

Our 1st rounder is 30th overall. If the Canes are going to extract value from that, it would have to be a gamble on a young defenseman with potential IMO. Peeke only just turned 25 and was on an interesting development track as a stay-at-home defensive D before the insane amount of injuries forced him to play more minutes than he was ready to handle.

that is a heck of a gamble with what looks like we will get a really good player at 30. Peeke has some awful numbers associated with him and he doesnt seem to read plays well in his own zone. He is 25. His potential has almost peeked (yep i went there). im not sure that youth or potential is really there.

That ask is too high in the Pesce deal. Going rate for dmen like him is a 1st + 2nd rounder. Willander has more value than a 2nd rounder at this point and then you've got kubalik on top of that.
