Makes sense. I was curious to see the fit there. Seems like Faulk is our front runner to move and I think he’d waive for a team that’s upcoming in the States.

The value needed to get from a 25 to 13 OA pick is the 43 pick, so the trade is more then fair I just don’t think buffalo would he interested in doing it

Sharks have a huge LD logjam. No interest in adding more without subtracting at least 2-3. So this is a pass.

For a 1st though isn't the worst. And the 3rd to take on a 1-year contract. Bury Scandella at worst. It's a trade that could work, I wouldn't just say no to a trade simply based off a LD for LD swap.

Once you use Karlssons retention slot you have 1 remaining. The retention spots cost as well.

Tbf to Faulk, he’s been very capable at defensive Dmen duties. Definitely our most complete dman of the last 2 years

I think of all Blues defenseman he is the most well rounded. If the fit isn’t there I can see that. But I wouldn’t say he’s bad at all. Of all big contract D, he will be moved first.

Yeah seems San Jose would do it. I’d like to get a first in the teens with Faulk being traded. Not sure who fits that ticket now.

Value is fair, but like others have said Faulk isn't the right style fit for what we need. Dahlin and Power will run the offense. They need guys to be stalwarts in the D-zone to pair with them. Samuelsson is one, just looking for another. Faulk would be a great option for a team like Toronto or Vancouver

If Faulk waives for Canada that would be great. But good insight, I appreciate the help with that. Makes sense why Parayko is more of a fit with Buffalo based on play style alone.

I would think about it, people just don't seem to know that Faulk is a good two-way defenseman and decent defensively. We don't necessarily need a guy who just sits at home and does nothing. A two way defenseman is also good.

Yeah I’d say Parayko would be better but again contract is a huge negative for me on him. Sabres really need 1-2 more defensive defenseman preferably a RHD that is good enough to play top 4 minutes and can play on the top line bc of injury.
