Those are all pretty bad value for the other teams.
Murray, even with one year left is still a 4.6mil cap hit for a guy who's never healthy enough to be reliable and not unhealthy enough to be a simple LTIR. Hes a dump with a TOR 3rd or better for nothing.
Turcotte and Robertson are two prospects that have both stalled for one reason or another, but the difference between them is more than those picks, its just not a player they need (a small winger). LA says no thanks. (and considering Turcotte isnt even playing top 6 in the AHL, and hes your 2C?)
And NJ does better for Yegor. Brodie at a 5mil cap hit had a pretty meh year and poor playoffs, and I think NJ probably has little interest, without retention which TOR can't offer.
The UFA signings are a little light for most of those guys and with all those multiple year deals, how are you going to re-sign Matthews and Nylander, liljegren and turcotte, when Murray's buyout is eating the cap increase?
