This isn't even close. Carolina are already trying to extend him. The only reason the rumor is even remotely plausible is because Pesce changed agents. Dundon has been very vocal about keeping him. Elite shutdown defensemen are extremely difficult to find.

We need a reason to move him though. Its either a roster upgrade or we just use him as an own rental
