Nice try, GuyGuyGuy. Sorry, but no. You're way off on Winnipeg's ability to get even comparable assets in trading PLD. First off, his agent is asking 9M per. Second, he's already quit on two teams and on record wanting to only play in MTL. Byfield is in the NHL and considered a future cornerstone piece on the Kings.

Durzi and a 1st would be more than what Blake should offer, especially if PLD won't sign for more than a year. If I were Blake I wouldn't bother. Other positions are more pressing.
