I think you forgot to include something of actual value when trying to acquire two of Winnipeg's best players. Can't imagine two cap dumps, two average prospects, and a super late first can get you one of the best goalies in the league and a young top line center. That's barely enough to even take on the cap dumps let alone get two great players.
If you are adding the two cap dumps then you probably have to include slaf or dach for the jets to even pick up the phone .

Yes, I agree this may be a bit low for Winnipeg. But in my defence I feel the Winnipeg Jets are being held over a barrel with both Dubois and Hellebuyck indicating they will not resign.

With the LA Kings now showing interest, Montreal may need to add 2024 1st, and another hopeful to help with Winnipeg’s “retooling”.

The entire offer gets PLD or Helly. Not both.

PLD is giving the Jets 5 or 6 teams to negotiate with, so they will receive more.

Helly is by far the best goalie that's been available for many years. He's working with the JETS to find a team that he wants to go to and sign long term with, thus increasing the assets they will receive in return.

It's a high quantity, little quality trade to start with and your massively overrating the value on Montreal's pick. The pick is nice, but it doesn't get you an elite goalie, a young 1C and allow you to dump over $30 mil of dead cap. No chance Winnipeg does that.
