Agreed - especially for a one-dimensional offensive defenseman who really only produced once this year's playoffs began. The Sabres' need on the blueline is for a defensive-minded, physical top 4 veteran - Bouchard doesn't check those boxes. When that gets factored in along with the challenge of extending Bouchard to some long-term, high cap hit, a package of Peterka and the 13th OA in a deep draft is beyond lopsided for the Oilers and ludicrous for the Sabres.
