No Cameron Allen?

All the guys I have listed on RD could go in the first round (ASP & Reinbacher top 11, Willander top 20, Bonk & Dragicevic somewhere at the bottom). I see Allen definitely being a second round pick with no possibility of being in the first round

If Allen is available at 28, the Leafs better take him, I see him being something special. Strong, room to grow, very mobile... reminds of a couple other players playing in the NHL right now

Moore > Dvorsky

Simashev and Reinbacher have the most upside of any other d in the draft IMO.

Otherwise I really like the list. What do you think about tanner molendyk?

I like the list. Would personally rather take Reinbacher over ASP, and potentially include Adam Gajan as one of the goalies. He's an overager yes but he performed quite well this season, both in WJC as in his league, having his first year in NA.

There will be much better prospects available at 28. If we really wanted Allen, then we could probably trade back to the mid to late 2nd round where I think he’ll go.

Not that this really matters, but I’ve personally heard some bad stories around the guy. Maybe i have some bias because of that but I don’t really find him that much of an intriguing prospect anyways.

Toss up between Moore and Dvorsky imo, same for Gulyayev vs Simashev. Also didn't notice I put ASP over Reinbacher so I gotta fix that

Gajan and Ratzlaff is a toss up, but I went Ratzlaff cuz his stats looked a bit more impressive than Gajan's

Leafs could probably trade up to like pick 90 and get a player similar to Allen... or maybe Allen himself! He has barely developed if at all since his DY-1

Isn't Allen in top 25-32 projections?

I have Brz (way) above Dragicevic, and above Bonk (by 1, I could easily be persuaded either way). I also LOVE Molendyk, have him near Simashev, also not a fan of Leonard (would still have him top 5, but prolly not 2), Barlow, and Wood (prolly wouldn't have them top 5)

Well that one down season is the most crucial one for development and showing his talent to NHL teams. Most players get a lot better in their DY and show improvements that he didn't

he was the third highest scoring dman on his team (behind Jake Murray [undrafted] and Michael Buchinger [STL 3rd round in 2022])

Not really my place to spread anything, especially if it isn't factual. I just know a few people that know the guy and it's pretty much the typical "World Junior" team Canada type of behaviour. But the sad reality is a lot of the guys are probably like that.

Oh, the more you know! that's not a good sign. It's obvious the kid has talent, just sad that this is his attitude
