There is no incentive for the teams that aren't Montreal to consider these trades.

Can see the logic but I hope the leafs don’t do this. Anderson is effective (especially against us 😕) but he’s really overpaid (4 more years 😳) given his lack of production and injury history. Plus Tre should know - we don’t make trades with the habs

I just saw Dubois handed a list of 5-6 teams he was ok signing an extension with so the leverage is not as big as it was initially. This offer will be beaten very easily.

Carolina and the Habs are the only teams that can afford his contract demands. And Carolina needs a finisher more than anything so i doubt they go out and pay any type of assets for something they dont need

I made the team better long term. But of course youd probably want Reinbacher and Dvorsky

No, someone random said he thinks Dubois would make sense for him in LA, MIN, without having a clue what he is talking about

Dude, I want Michkov at 5, but what are these trades ? Radek ****ing Faksa, I rather have Armia any day of the week over Faksa
Taking Mantha contract is a bad move, especially when all we get is a 2024 3rd rounder and we send two 5th
MTL are't trading Josh Anderson for a low 1st, they will keep him a couple more years unless someone overpay for him
By trading FLO pick & MTL early 2nd, we won't be able to draft a goalie and we will be stock with Monty (who isn't good). Hopefully one of Primeau or Dobes exceed expectation
What is Suzuki doing on the RW lol
Dach is much more a winger than Suzuki

Faksa is cheaper and the better player

Mantha would throve in Montreal and easily traded at the deadline 50 % retained

Anderson is overrated by habs fans and underrated by other fan bases. Hes not worth more than a late 1st in a stacked draft

Why would you use a top 60 pick on a goalie unless the are Price level when you could just build your roster properly and any goalie will perform. Adin Hill costs the Knights a 4th rounder.

If you actually watched games, youd see that Suzuki always plays along the boards and isnt quick enough to be a proper Center. Dach is much better suited for that role as he actually occupies the middle of the ice

Toronto isn't the team giving up the 1st round pick in this scenario. Gonna need to pay to get rid of a forward who could barely outproduce fourth liner David Kampf, who is owed 22 million over the next four seasons. I could only imagine what Hab fans would be asking for if Toronto was trying to trade Josh Anderson their way.

Murray shouldnt be in the NHL. Anderson is a high speed PWF who consistently scores at a 20 goal rate. Hes slightly overpaid but hes worth it for a team like Toronto who actually need the players with the intangibles and not a bunch of foofoo skill players

Faksa is only better than Armia on faceoff lmao Faksa is dog****, Dwight King kind of dog****

Mantha would spent the season on IR and wouldn't bring any assets at the TDL like Monahan

Anderson is fine, that late 1st rounder might never play in the NHL, or even less chance he becomes better than Anderson

Adin Hill is way better than Montembeault, and MTL defense are YEARS away to be good

If you actually watch games, Suzuki plays along the boards on the PP, not at 5v5. He doesn't go into corners, Dach is winning every puck battles along the boards with his big frame. Dach can't win a faceoff and he is good into corners, digging the puck out. Dach as a winger > Suzuki as a winger

Youre just looking at points when thats not Andersons game. He consistently scores at a 20 goal rate. Kampf scored 7.

Also your opinion doesnt quantify a players value. The market does. And Anderson's market has always been a 1st rounder minimum. Dont believe that, just ask other fan bases what they thought Chiarot was gonna go for.

Show me a 3rd liner who averages 17 mins a night

He may start on the 3rd line, but like any good coach would line match. Like during the habs cup run, Danault was on our 3rd line but played the most minutes

He's an albatross contract. Stop trying to pretend otherwise.

Calle Jarnkrok also scored 20 goals this year and he makes 2.1M and is much better defensively than Anderson.

Mantha played 2 less games than Anderson last year. But one is injury prone and wont get anything and the other is worth more than a late 1st

Suzuki has some of the best edges in the league. Thats entirely the reason why he stays near the boards and cannot compete down the middle because hes slow af straight line speed. A lot of Habs goals were conceded because Suzuki couldnt catch up to the 3rd man on a 3v2. Dach can catch up with them.

-1.1 GSAA on a very good Leafs team

Samsonov had a 17.4

Start using better stats. SV% is a flawed stat for goalies.

which he scored 6 points in 22 games...... on a team carried by the best goalie of our generation which came bottom 5 the 2 years after. No leaf jab you make will take away the fact that hes a 3rd liner making 5.5m for the next 4 years
