I never said I wanted Devils to trade for him. In fact, on this very thread, I said the opposite:

I knew about the ACL (the result of a chance knee-on-knee collision) and the "broken ankle" (a hairline fracture from blocking a shot that cost him a total of 7 games). I suspect the "bruised leg" refers to the ankle injury because I don't remember a separate leg injury and googling Tom Wilson "bruised leg" doesn't turn up anything. As for the broken wrist, I have absolutely no idea where you got that from. He's bruised his knuckles in fights before, but he's never had a broken wrist.

The fact is, Wilson's style of play has never caused him a significant injury. He also hasn't been suspended since 2021, and anyone who's watched him will tell you he's changed his game significantly and taken the cheap stuff out of it.

No he wouldn't. McLeod was still barely above replacement level during the regular season and a good run of 12 playoff games doesn't change that.
