kane is out until at least january due to the surgery. the last couple of players who had similar surgery did not perform well at all 1st year they came back. Most verified rumor sites are saying similar things about Kane - $ has varied a little but most are saying a 1 year prove it deal.

If there is something to question, why are many ACGMs putting Othmann on the roster and at RW - let alone RW in the top 6. He is a LW. He should spend the year in the AHL and try RW there. Don't stunt his growth by having him learn a new position while at the NHL level.
