That doesn’t get ep40. If he would extend long term, It starts with jiricek and 3oa. Maybe a few smaller pieces, like boqvist or peeke/ roslovic.

Hayes at anything less than 5 million I’ll be over the moon about. However I don’t think it gets done.

i dont disagree that thats his worth, but it would be hard to imagine CBJ giving that up. Jiricek is arguably the top prospect in hockey (not including 2023 draft prospects) and 3OA gets you an A prospect as well. Plus we rarely see stars get their true worth. Id imagine it would be 3OA, Ceulemans and other assets like Sillinger, Boqvist, Svozil, etc. One of Jiricek or 3OA, not both. Just my thoughts tho. Again dont disagree on value

JT Miller would be a better fit in CBJ. Keeps with the never having had a true no. 1 center trend.

I totally agree, and I hope I would be wrong but I have to think other teams would have better win now packages that we would have to compete with. To be honest I would not move either (my 3 untouchables are Kent, jiricek and 3oa as my view is we have a meh team now with young stars on Elcs to surround old core) I’d move all other pieces around to get a young 1c but I just don’t see a possibility out there.
My targets would be Hayes (at 5 million or less) or kuzy. Both short term options that have manageable cap hits.
