They can't wait anymore he's signing long term this summer so if mtl doesn't send an offer he doesn't sign in mtl it's that simple. It's kinda bad for both in a way where he lowered his value but for every team aquiring him and now no longer taking a 1 year deal to walk him to ufa means that whoever gives him the best offer probably has some indication that he'd sign.
