Demelo is definitely not worth 13oa and there's no way JJP is being traded, especially for Marcus Pettersson?

As a Jets fan, I don't want to tell you this. But, Demelo could be had for a 2nd possibly even a 3rd round pick.

Also, we had Comrie, we didn't re-sign him. We don't want him.

No offense but isn't Adin Hill just like Eric Comrie 2.0 here? Like Buffalo signed Comrie last offseason after he came off a .920 SV% season as a backup. Hill was a backup this year with a .915 SV%. You go for something like that when you are looking for a goalie tandem with about a 40-40 split. Levi is not nearly ready to handle that kind of workload

As others have pointed out, the op is overpaying for demelo and pettersson. I don't mind moving jokiharju, but I'm not sure Evans is any better a fit. Not sure adams bothers to move olofsson if that's the return.

I think it comes down to Olofsson scores goals and Nashville needs people who can score goals. My guess though is that its really just a trade him anywhere kind of thing.

We have a gaping hole on the left side in our top 6. He can also score. I wouldn't mind him at the cost of a 4th.

Comrie and Hill are different situations and bodies of work. Comrie came to Buffalo with 28 NHL games under his belt. He has 2 more career games played than UPL.

Adin Hill has over 100 NHL games under his belt with a dozen playoff game and a potential Stanley Cup. He’s been reliable in the work he’s gotten in his career, and has been a pretty proven backup, but hasn’t been able to land that starting job yet, either due to the situation of being in Arizona behind Kuemper and Raanta, or being often injured in San Jose. He’s had starter upside and he’s finally getting to show it.. More proven than Comrie, who had a .920 spct 19 games while he was pretty inconsistent in his other 8 games.

There is gamble in signing Hill because he will get 3-4 years @ 4 mill, and you’re hoping he can step up and take on a bigger role and play 40 games.
