None of this is realistic for one reason or another.

Sharks aren't retaining 5 million on Karlsson and trading back from 4th. And that isn't even including taking Leddy's contract back.

Krug has 4 years left. No team is committing nearly 3 mil of retention for that long as a 3rd team in that Det deal. And it would cost WAY more than ~2 3rds like you said to get that.

Karlsson is making 11 Million right? For the next idk 4 years you want SJS to retain 5 million. That’s never going to happen for that cheap of price, let’s also not forget that Blues have NO CAP SPACE. Red Wings won’t trade for Krug. I doubt anyone wants Parayko for that and even more than that they both probably decline because they have NTCs. Let’s also forget that Karlsson is in his 30s mid 30s meaning we aren’t getting Prime Karlsson we’re getting back end of career Karlsson and for that reason Army isnt going to turn a rebuild into a team that’s older and less talented trading off Hofer and Neighbours for Karlsson. It is a much of the same answer for Edmonton they won’t trade Holloway and Yamamoto for Parayko. So no I’m not Homer I just have more than half a brain.
