My thought process is were missing one more legit top six winger and we would have Makar,Girard,Byram and Toews to fill out our top 4. The only reason I personally would be against it is that were expecting Landy back for the 24-25 season but the cap is expected to be 88Mill then. I think Hyman would fit in well in the avs top 6.

The Avs need someone who can play down the middle. Outside of MacKinnon, that’s looking very thin right now and Hyman’s contract hinders the Avs ability to finally answer their 2C question. Your thought process on defense is fine but Manson has a NTC and I doubt he’d waive it to go to Edmonton.

That’s a fair point. The reason for me to wanting him to waive for Edmonton is that i would really like McLeod on this Avalanche team. I think he would be a great fit in Colorados middle six. But hey, we can’t have everything.

Ryan McLeod’s for sure an interesting piece that could for sure Avs and I think he could break out into a nice role player here. Additionally as a fan, I’m having buyer’s remorse over Manson’s deal because he looked absolutely cooked in the playoffs due to the injuries. Since the Avs are pretty much stuck with him, I hope he heals over the longer offseason.

Avs say no, they have cheaper Lehky and byetter Val. When Lany comes back, it would be 4 wings all playing the same style. I don't hate Hyman's fit but its just a waste of cap
