Hate to break it to you but in reality Verbeek takes that trade. He’s been looking to move Comtois since he got here. Right or wrong, I doubt Comtois is on the opening night roster for ANA.

Been reported multiple times by different people. Was looking for a 2nd at TDL. Some thought that a decent offer will get him this offseason. It’s gonna be a bad move but sounds like the direction their headed. All I’ll say is that he better be traded and not let go by not qualifying him.

Insiders with Anaheim are pretty brutal though so I don’t trust anything that’s said unless they are directly attached to Anaheim

But this actually makes sense based on how Comtois has been handled. I don’t want him to go. I want to see him given a chance under a new coach in the top 9 but it feels like he’s on his way out the door unfortunately.
