Description

Trade with VAN: After Myers has his bonus paid, this trade frees up cap space for the Canucks and gives Boeser and Comtois a change of scenery to hopefully help them both achieve better success.

Trade with COL (Potentailly @ the Deadline): Henrique, IMO, would fit in really well with the group in COL. He would be a good veteran option if Landeskog is totally unavailable.

Myers and MacDermid give the Ducks blueline some size and allows their prospects to bake a little longer while still potentially getting playing time this season and the following seasons as well.

Shattenkirk signed for one year. He is seen as a leader in the locker room and could be a rotational guy to allow the kids to get more playing time.

Wishful thinking but I think it will depend on who the new head coach is, but I would love to see Olen or Minty get time on the second or 3rd pair next season.

i thought Rico wasn't playing much C these days? If he can still play effectively at C, I'd do that deal only if it was this offseason, not the TDL
