Since Murray was active in the last playoff game highly unlikely he is eligible for LTIR. It's not the teams decision to put a player on LTIR......just to avoid cap.

Yes you are. Clarkson was never on LTIR with the Leafs. Robidas.....year two of his contract he broke his leg and was out for the season. He was deemed medically unfit to return to play in year two and year three of his contract. Period. Lots of players are deemed ineligible to play for medical conditions by the NHL
But you seem to think it's a free get of cap jail for teams.
