Gallagher and coutiere I think are in a untradable sort of scenario in my opinion as far health and term goes.

Vancouver declines. They don't have the cap space to pay Gallagher, he simply doesn't produce near enough to justify paying him $6.5 mil for the next 4 years. Boeser doesn't have a ton of value, but I'd say he's worth the second. That makes the deal 1 year of Myers @ $6 mil for 4 years of Gallagher @ $6.5 mil. The Gallagher contract is significantly worse than the Myers one, a 4th doesn't nearly bridge the gap between the two.

Boeser gets at least the 2025 2nd. Myers would cost a mid round pick to dump. But Gallagher costs at least a 1st to dump (and if it’s the Florida 1st it’s gonna cost at least one more solid piece)

Difference is that Boeser is a good player and only has 2 years left. Myers only has 1 year left. Boeser has a bit of positive value, and Myers has a bit negative value. They cancel each other out. Gallagher on the other hand is a complete negative asset and has like 5 more years on his contract. Terrible for Vancouver. Gallagher alone would cost multiple first round picks to dump
