Justify it however you want for your teams reasons Calgary isn't trading their 1C for a winger, let alone one making 11M. They aren't winning anything with Kadri at 1C so Lindholm is a complete non-starter.

I see what you're trying to do with Columbus but we won't take the trade because 1. We already have two goalies we can't move due to waivers or...yeah. 2nd off we are not going to spend 8mil on real salary for 5 spots in the draft. Columbus management is uneasy about unnecessary spending of money to take bad contracts when it comes to buying draft picks which is why it won't happen.
