Why pay graves, why have him 1LD, why not pay severson?

I don't think you watched Graves enough to know he is the easiest UFA this team can lose, maybe on the fence with Wood. Bahl is way better than Graves at this point.

I agree with you about Graves. I think team can sign him while they have money to trade him in the future

Historically, Devils and Flyers, as geographical and divisional rivals, do not trade with one another. We have completed one deal almost 40 years ago when we sent an AHLer’s rights to Philly and he was never signed. But if we were to break tradition, the trade would probably be Konecny for picks/prospects (no Bratt, no pick to NJ).

With Luke’s arrival, Graves is as good as gone. Hopefully we sign Severson instead. Also pretty good chance Haula comes back too.
