He had 20 points in the AHL last year. I don't think you're getting one of the most talented wingers in the league for a third and a prospect that has a ceiling of the third line on a competent team.

I'm still leaning towards no. We have the money to sign the core 4 because of two reasons: TJ Brodie's 5 million dollar deal ends this year, and John Tavares' deal ends the same as Marner. Obviously the leafs can't and won't make a trade unless it makes the team better.
