Leafs want nothing to do with a locker room issue in Miller. We would be more than happy to keep Tavares for 2 more years than to be stuck with a guy for 7 more years

JT's deal is up in two years. So he has more value, especially retained. Besides, he'll never waive to Vancouver. He's staying.

not easy at all this may be the highest value for petterson in his career and getting a young prospect (we dont have many) as well as a 2nd rounder may be ideal. im a fan of keeping poj and ty smith then sign graves and the left side is taken care of plus we get value back for petterson. not saying its a must but its def not an easy no
