I do not like this. Let’s start off with that San Jose trade. Jiri Kulich is going to be really good in this league I don’t think I want to part ways with him for a 32 year old dman especially only -2.5 mil price of his contract. The Sabres have to pay Dahlin and Power after next season, so I don’t see them trading for an $9 mil d. Now if the Sharks take on half his salary that’s a different story. Also I don’t think Greenway is going anywhere as Granato pounded the table to get him at the trade deadline. The isles one I think the Isles say absolutely not. Levi is projected to be good but Sorokin is a top 3 goalie right now and he’s only 27 so unless they’re going full rebuild (which I don’t see) they probably aren’t trading him. Lastly people really need to stop putting Pat Kane on the Sabres. He has no interest in playing here and a 3x6.5 mil per year deal is waaaaaaaay too much money and term for him. He’s 35 and has a bad hip. He’s not the same player he was even 2 years ago. If he’s signing anywhere it’s for a minimum salary on a Stanley cup contender.
