Given where the team is in their competitive window, they're not trading their leading scorer in McCann for futures, and they don't want or need Petry, especially at his full cap hit.

Wild aren't trading Gaudreau who they just signed to a 5 year extension. Plus Wild don't need to pay to dump Fleury's contract as they have other guys they will shed first.
