  1. Reilly, Mike
Détails additionnels:
Pure cap dump, Reilly having been buried for the last year leaves him with little to no trade value, especially on a team thats in a major cap crunch this offseason.
3.
OTT
  1. Walker, Sean
Détails additionnels:
Both teams fill a void, Kings move out a defenceman which would appear necessary with all the young dmen they have in their organization. Also bring in a goalie capable of being a good starter on a strong defensive team.

They make the playoffs but I do not think this team wins you a cup.

Absolutely ****ing not to Mike Reilly. All we need is him and Josh Brown back and we can have two ECHL defenseman to lead us to the cup!

1. DeBrincat signs for more while Pinto signs for less.

2. Brassard and Kessel are more likely to retire.

3. The trade with Winnipeg benefits no one and DeBrincat will not be signing for 7 million x 8 to play in Winnipeg.

4. Bruins accept.

5. Kings fleece you.

Regardless of the value, the point of moving Walker would be to clear cap space by replacing him with ELC players (Clarke or Spence). This is a lateral move at best in terms of cap. I can't see LA doing it. Especially if they can get Korpisalo to a contract similar to Forsberg's.

Boston will accept any offer of FC or minor league stiff for Reilly. So yes.

We do not need Reilly whatsoever. Been there done that. Brannstrom is better and would be WAY cheaper. I agree with above comments regarding Brassard and Kessel, so replace them with Kastelic and Sokolov/Crookshank/Jarventie. I'm not huge on Ritchie, but I like your other FA signings.

As a non sens fan I don't understand the distaste for Reilly, seems to have really good underlying numbers everywhere he goes was just the odd man out in Boston. Again I don't watch every sens game throughout a season but I feel like there needs to be an injection of veterans into the bottom 6, it seems like they are a team thats gotten to the stage where they can't keep cycling high end prospects in bottom 6 roles.

I get what you're saying, they do need veterans in the line up, especially on the LW if they move on from DeBrincat. Reilly, however, is LD, not a veteran forward for the bottom 6. Might be a bit of a mix up causing some confusion, but OTT is flooded with talent on LD.

As for not liking Reilly, he played for OTT during the depths of our rebuild. While here, he likely was given too big of a role but unfortunately it has left a bad taste in my mouth for the player. I personally don't see him as an upgrade on what is available for OTT on LD.

Appreciate the clarity, not often you get to debate or converse on cap friendly without it being tense. On the vets in the bottom 6 i was leaning more so into needing to add guys like Kessel or Brassard, doesn't have to be those guys specifically but vets who fit in that salary range.

Korpisalo is signing for around 4x4 to 5x5 this summer people will be taking chances on him with how good he was and how lean the market is and the expected salary cap jump this season
