Also, I’d your swapping Bouchard for Parayko, there’s no reason to get Graves. May as well just give up on actually playing defense and try to out score everyone 9-8

Bouch isn’t going anywhere and can’t do a long term contract with McDavid and Draisaitl coming up soon so they just cant do a 6.5X8 contract. (Non EDM fan too)

Well they can if it is this year and they commit to a very cheap bottom 6, cheap 6th forward and cheap bottom 3 defense.

Also not sure why you want Bouchard when you have Faulk? Same skill set isn't it?

Five more years of 32 year old 6.25 Krug looks like a bit NO from 32 teams. Oilers keep the young and probably cheaper Bouchard rather the an aging Parayko contract.

Bouchard has more value than Parayko by far, you aren't getting him AND two other good players from Edmonton for Parayko.

Take Bouchard out and Edmonton considers.

Four years. And there were supposedly teams calling for him at the TDL, so I'm not sure everyone says no.

Every GM says he is fielding calls for his players. Gotta think if there were legit calls, a lot of retention would be needed.

I dont think Krug is unmoveable. I prefer taking back a shorter term bad contract instead of retention.
