Term is the issue. He can't stay healthy enough to warrant a long term deal. Bert believed he deserved what Larkin got in my opinion. He didn't get it. And he won't get it.

Bert is a great teammate. Players love him. Larkin was pretty much in tears when Bert was traded. Bert has been a perfect fit in Boston and I really hope he wins a Cup.
