It's more than just the fact that ANA has said Gibson isn't available - it's also just a terrible trade for the Pens. You can get, at worst, equal goaltending on the open market for cheaper and save your assets.

In fairness here, I don't think it's a good deal for either team, with the caveat being that Pittsburgh gets to unload Granlund, which is nice for them.
