All things considered, which team do you think will have better future?

Kinda surprised Columbus is running away with this.

I think in terms of "rebuilding" teams Columbus has the brightest future in the NHL. They talent on and off the roster, another top pick this year and they have the cap space too add.

Anaheim has talented futures at Center, Defense, and Goaltending with another top end forward coming in this draft. Columbus doesn't have clear-cut Center futures (beyond Sillinger and his sophomore slump) even though they have solid Defense prospects. Goaltending is okay.

Any team looking to make the leap to contention needs to have the "spine" of the team complete. Look at New Jersey and Buffalo (once Levi arrived) while Ottawa and Detroit faded away.
