He's not that old and has already proven his worth. $5mx4 would only take him up to 36 and realistically a host of teams would happily offer him that so this is a good offer if we're interested in keeping him.

Robertson was a 2nd round pick who hasnt performed in 3 professional seasons and has suffered 2 serious injuries, hes not worth a 2nd

Brodie isnt playing that well, hes an expiring UFA and Abrueze isnt a great enough prospect to make up the difference for Laughton

Presuming he would want to stay I'd work out a 2 year deal/max 3 year. 2 year at 4mil per or 3 year 3.5mil per.
