i would think those kadri and hubie deals are just to the grave at this point. theyve got like 8 or something legit players who are expiring next year, best to get to it now... lindholm and backlund have already said they will go to FA, and i dont see how hanifin doesnt either. really no other way for them to become a consistent contender then to pick in the top like 6 for 2 years or so. they should have done this last year when 100 goals walked out the door after the most successful season in years. ok im done

Trading our 2024 1at shouldnt be off the table imo. 2023 1st should be. Trading Ty isnt bad either. We already have Pettersson and POJ and if we add another dman like Graves Smith wont play

I would prefer to keep Smith, I see Marino 2.0 but even better in Smith, the offense is there and he put together a nice season in WBS, he’s clearly ready for a roster spot next year and we need our youth bad.

I would say that for this year yea our first is off the table, maybe we even trade back to gain a second back and draft there but you have to think as much as we want to compete now the more assets we send out the more we hurt ourself for the future when we are gonna desperately be needing those picks.

blues dont get rid of neighbors, maybe one of either the rangers or leafs picks (whichever team does worse in playoffs) would be better

I say 2025 and 2026 picks are off the table. That's when we will start thinking rebuild. Crosby, Malkin, and Letang have enough in them to go until 2024. We should at least consider moving the 1st maybe at the deadline depending on where we are (2024 1st). I do like Smith. I wouldnt be suprised if we kept the same defense minus Dumoulin. Maybe we move Rutta and sign Graves.

Yeah, the offer is good enough to ponder, but I think they won't deal Neighbours and as of now they can't afford it. Leddy or Krug would need to go first.

Flames Decline all those Trades, not enough Value coming back for each player

Lindstrom, Hagg, Frk and even Blueger simply aren't worth those Cap Hits
