Obliterating your depth for 1 player is moronic no matter what you do. I would do the original trade if it could work cap wise but it doesn't. The ones you suggested are not happening though, I'm a big fan of Cat but those players combined have an overall bigger effect on the game than him.

Also saying Debrincat is not what Ottawa needs is like saying Zach Hyman or Evander Kane is not what Edmonton needs. Why would you ever not want a proven 40 goal player with a strong 2-way game?
